VOR speaks up for the future of people with intellectual & developmental disabilities
Founded in 1983 as a national, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, VOR has been advocating in support of family decision-making rights and a continuum of care options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including own home, family home, community based options and facility-based care.
VOR is the only national advocacy organization that champions individual, family and legal guardian decision-making and supports both facility-based homes (e.g., ICFs/IID*) and quality community-based service options based on individual need.
